If I was only 10 years younger, five inches taller, and blonder, I would so enter the Wheel of Fortune "Vanna for a Day Contest." (Just click on the link to go to the Vanna For A Day Contest page.)I mean, who wouldn't want to be Vanna White for a day -- and get paid to gracefully turn a few dozen letter boxes and read promo copy for 22 minutes a spin on Wheel of Fortune? I don't know about the rest of you, but I loved Wheel of Fortune growing up, back when Chuck Woolery was the host (and Susan Stafford was the hostess). And have been known to occasionally watch since. (The spouse and I also have fond memories of watching the Italian version of Wheel of Fortune, known as La Ruota della Fortuna, when we were cycling through Italy many years ago.)
So if you think you've got what it takes to be the next Vanna White, go ahead and enter. (The contest runs through February 7.)
