I don't think many of you got surprised much about the Apple's iPad 2 announcement which took its place last week, but for those who just could not wait and bought an iPad 1 recently, Apple's got your back. Apple has recently confirmed that it is offering a $100 refund to anybody that bought the OG iPad within two weeks of the iPad 2's announcement. The company would not give a specific cutoff date, but 14 days works out to around Feb. 16th, so in case you are among those who bought an iPad after that date, you need to head into the local Apple store or give customer support a ring to get $100 added back to your credit card, at the time when anyone who bought recently a new iPad only to have its successor revealed has to be sort of upset, but don't forget to consider that at least you are getting $100 out of the deal.
